AI Hub

Tracking responsible AI use in social protection systems worldwide

The AI Hub AI Tracker is a global mapping of how artificial intelligence is being used across social protection systems. Developed by the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI) in 2026, commissioned by GIZ and developed with partners including the World Bank, UNICEF, and ILO, it documents 99 verified cases across 48 countries — covering AI capabilities, deployment status, risk dimensions, and governance safeguards. All cases are source-backed and classified using an approved taxonomy. Found an issue or want to contribute? Submit a case or get in touch.
