Submit a New AI Use Case

Help us map how AI is being used in social protection worldwide. Submissions are reviewed by the DCI AI Hub team before publication. Fields marked * are required.

1
What counts as a use case?

A specific instance where AI or machine learning is being used (or has been used) by a government or implementing partner in a social protection programme. This includes chatbots, predictive models, fraud detection, targeting systems, satellite imagery analysis, and more.

2
Be specific in your description

Tell us what the AI system does, how it works (what data it uses, what model type), who operates it, and what outcomes have been observed. Even partial information is valuable.

3
Sources are critical

We need at least one verifiable source: a government report, news article, academic paper, project page, or official documentation. Use cases without sources are much harder to verify and publish.

4
What happens next?

Our team will review your submission, verify the sources, code it against the DCI taxonomy, and publish it to the tracker. We may follow up by email if we need clarification. Most reviews are completed within two weeks.

1

Programme and Country

Tell us where this AI system is deployed and in which programme.

A short, descriptive name. Include the country or programme name if possible.

Which pillar does this programme fall under?

2

About the AI System

Describe the AI/ML system: what it does, how it works, and its current status.

The more detail you provide, the easier it is for us to verify and publish your submission. Even partial answers are helpful.

What type of AI task does the system perform? See the taxonomy for definitions.

What is the AI being used for? See the taxonomy for definitions.

What AI/ML approach or model is used? Free text is fine if you are unsure of the exact category.

Sources and Evidence

All published cases must be backed by verifiable sources. Please provide links to any documentation you can share.

Government reports, academic papers, news articles, project pages, or official documentation. One URL per line. If the work is unpublished, describe what documentation exists and when it may become available.
